Cumberland Academy is a project of World Community Autism Program. Innovators and visionaries are coming together to build a Center of Transformational Learning and
a Transitional Holistic Community combined. The core project will be
the development of an off-grid community and school that innovates in
integrative, holistic and life-affirming building design, energy
systems, water management, gardening, food science, nutrition and
herbology. Alongside the core project, the academy will be a center
of transformation in our understanding of the Universe and our place
in it, and a place for personal growth, learning and transformation.
What is meant by a ‘transitional community?
The
purpose of a transitional community is to provide to those who come
here the tools, knowledge and experience to navigate the time of
transition that we as a planet and as a humanity are now going
through.
